Look at the smiles on these Darfuri children's faces as they celebrate the arrival of their new English books! The head teacher of their school, Zahara School in Bredjing Camp, eastern Chad, is in the background, smiling with them.

Young students have increasingly been enrolling in English classes in the camps — in March, we learned of an additional 300 — so the arrival of these books is very timely. The children and their teachers now have a complete English course, published by Oxford University Press, from the most basic to advanced levels.
