CORD is a faith-based UK Registered Charity (No. 1070684) with a 42-year history of providing humanitarian aid to people affected by violent conflict. Their mission of “conflict transformation” involves much more than handouts — they provide devastated communities with sustainable means to earn their own livelihoods, and establish and operate educational facilities in partnership with local and international organizations.

The Michael Scott Mater Foundation is a new nonprofit organization, based in North Carolina, with a global mission to improve education for poor students. We are working with Mater's staff in Iraq to provide English as a Second Language material for students and teachers at Dhi Qar University in Nasiriyah.
