About the photographer: Richard Wainwright

Many of the photos from Chad that appear on our website were taken by Richard Wainwright on assignment for our partner CORD. Richard Wainwright BA Hons is a UK documentary photographer who reports on news and humanitarian issues around the world. His work for human rights has been widely published in Newsweek, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and the Daily Mail, and exhibited in London and The Channel Islands. His assignment for CORD reveals the reality of life for refugees from the Darfur Genocide. We are very grateful to Richard for allowing us to share these moving photos with you.
