Hippocrene Books

Wish List Items:
Dictionaries

Over the last thirty-five years, Hippocrene Books has become one of America’s foremost publishers of foreign-language reference books and ethnic cookbooks. As a small publishing house in a marketplace dominated by conglomerates, Hippocrene has succeeded by continually reinventing its list while maintaining a strong international and ethnic orientation.

University of Toronto English Language Program

The University of Toronto English Language Program, part of the School of Continuing Studies, offers a wide range of English courses, full-time and part-time, from basic to academic or business/professional. We are delighted that the Program is making available some of the same textbooks and other course material its students use for our projects in the developing world. They recently donated nearly 500 items, which we will match with students in Iraq and elsewhere who wish to learn English, but lack these precious tools.
