Book Wish Foundation is thrilled to have the support of our local vision care experts at the Northern Virginia Optometric Society. Learning of our need for reading glasses for Darfur refugees in Chad, the Society launched an impressive effort that collected nearly 400 readers from its members, taking us to 100% of our goal. They also neutralized glasses received from others donors and provided eyeglass repair kits and eye charts. Their contribution represents a major part of the vision care we are providing to the Darfuris.
